Have you heard of Shabbat Music?

We haven't until we read Sabra's post on Shabbat Music where she shared with us a song that Shiri Maimon performed in Eurovision Contest 2005.

Well, we at home all like Shiri's song very much! And it brought tears to Mum's eyes.

"Though I have no idea what she was singing about because I can't understand Jewish, but this Shiri sings very well and her emotions really touched me," said Mum.

We can't agree more! We wanted to get that song on our MacBook but were disappointed that iTunes didn't have Shiri's collection at all!

1 have something to squeak about:

Shalom and thanks for linking to my post! I'm so pleased you liked the music.

If your Mum would like a translation there is one here:
http://www.allthelyrics.com/song/858198/
The top part is the transliteration (Hebrew in English characters) but if you scroll down the English is underneath.

There doesn't seem to be any non-Hebrew site where the song can be downloaded but she does have her fansite in English http://shiri-maimon.co.il/shiri/english/800/
