I love the weekends — like Mum, we feel weekends are the best.Apart from having to do the chores, seeing friends and all that stuff you people do, Mum tries to stay home as much as possible during the weekends. She likes to hang out with us as she finds it relaxing.
This weekend, we all hung out at Stephen's. I get to sit with Mum while she knits and does some work on the laptop.
Speaking of knitting, Mum's started a new project last week. It's Connie Peng's Sage Blouse. The pattern calls for cotton yarns. But Mum thought it would look good in wool so she is knitting this with woollen yarns. Plus, she needs a new thing to wear this Winter and she sees nothing she fancies buying in the shops.
And speaking of clothes, the stuff you people put on (we are lucky in that we're covered in fur and don't have to spend money buying clothes), I like Mum's new flannelette pyjama pants. She said she bought them from Big W for only A$10! It was a bargain she couldn't resist at that time. I like the animal prints and I find flannels very comfortable to lie in.
